The Elixir Enthusiast aspiration is all about mastering Apothecary, natural healing and the Naturopath career. Your Sim will spend a lot of time crafting elixirs, curing ailments and experimenting with emotions, which makes this a very systems heavy and career focused aspiration rather than a casual side goal.

Aspiration Milestones and Tasks

Stage 1: Elixir Beginner

Task	Tips
Forage for Apothecary Ingredients 3 times	Reach Apothecary level 2 first, then click on the ground and choose Forage for > Forage for Apothecary Ingredients. Forage in different areas to vary what you find. High luck improves the quality of items.
Craft 2 items at an Apothecary Table	Buy the Leafy Ledge Apothecary Table from Build Buy. Purchase basic ingredients directly from the table, then use Craft to make any two beginner recipes. Start with cheap, simple elixirs while you are still experimenting.
Give a Cure or Elixir to 3 other Sims	Craft any Cure or Elixir, then click another Sim and use the Apothecary interactions to Give Elixir. Do this three times. Use friends or household members so you are not hunting strangers all over town.
Reach level 2 of the Naturopath career	Join the Naturopath career from the phone or career panel. Do your daily task (Study Holistic Care on a computer) and go to work in a good mood for a fast promotion. No heavy skills are needed for this first step.

Stage 1 tips in practice:
Focus on unlocking foraging first, then build a small stash of ingredients. It is more efficient to craft several elixirs back to back and hand them out on a single social outing.

Stage 2: Emotionally Bottled Up

Task	Tips
Detect emotions with an Emotion Stone	You need Apothecary level 6 to craft an Emotion Stone at the Apothecary Table. Some ingredients are purchasable, but Lightning Root may require higher level purchases, foraging or buying from Todd’s Cures and Elixirs. Once crafted, move the Stone into your Sim’s inventory and use Detect Emotions.
Bottle 3 emotions with the Emotion Stone	With the Stone in your inventory, choose Apothecary > Bottle Emotion. This stores your Sim’s current emotion. Repeat until you have bottled 3 different emotions. You cannot bottle Tense, Scared or Fine, so aim for Happy, Focused, Inspired and similar states.
Earn §600 by selling items crafted at an Apothecary Table	Sell crafted elixirs, cures and potions directly from your Sim’s inventory. Higher tier elixirs, Emotion Potions and the Holistic Cure sell for more, so do not waste time mass crafting the cheapest items once your skill rises.
Reach level 4 of the Naturopath career	Keep doing daily tasks, building the Apothecary and Natural Living skills and going to work in the correct mood. Use lot traits like Study Spot and Bracing Breezes to speed up skill gain if you own the right packs.

Stage 2 tips in practice:
This is where the aspiration starts to feel like a proper career lifestyle. Set up a “work day” at home: forage early, craft in a block, then sell surplus stock and finish by going to work with a strong moodlet from your crafted items.

Stage 3: Top Tier Crafter

Task	Tips
Reach level 10 of the Naturopath career	You must commit to this as a full time path. Before the branch choice, focus on Natural Living and Apothecary. After the branch, Apothe curist needs Gardening and Apothecary, while Lifestyle Coach needs Fitness and Apothecary. Always complete the daily task, work Hard on slower days and keep your Sim’s needs high before work.
Craft Holistic Cure Elixir at an Apothecary Table	Requires Apothecary level 10. You need 2 Angry Emotion Potions, 2 Sad Emotion Potions and 4 Lumps of Moss. You can buy Moss through the Apothecary Table. For the Emotion Potions, either bottle emotions using the Emotion Stone, or craft the potions directly. At level 10 you can convert one emotion potion into another type, which lets you recycle extras.

Stage 3 tips in practice:
Treat this stage like a late game goal. Do not expect to rush it in a single in game week. Plan ahead for the Holistic Cure ingredients so that when you finally hit level 10, you already have most of what you need in your inventory.

Stage 4: Optional Challenges (Not an official in game stage)

This aspiration only has three official stages. You can still use the template for extra self set goals once the aspiration is complete.

Run a home based Apothecary business	Use Retail systems from Get to Work or simple yard sales to sell elixirs and cures as a roleplay “clinic”.
Cure every ailment your household experiences	Instead of using cheats or standard medicine, insist on Apothecary solutions for the whole family.
Train a successor	Have your Sim mentor a child or teen by giving them elixirs, building their skills and eventually moving them into the Naturopath career as well.

• Is more resilient against negative Moodlets and ailments, staying in a more stable, “well” state during hectic gameplay or emotional chaos.

Perfect for:
Players who like systems, careers and long term progression. Great for storytellers who want a healer, herbalist, village doctor or nature focused wellness guru at the centre of their save. Less ideal if you want quick, low effort aspirations.
