The Magic Realm – Secret Location Guide – The Sims 4

Overview

The Magic Realm is a hidden destination that comes with The Sims 4: Realm of Magic. It does not appear on the world map, but is a fully explorable pocket world of floating islands, a central Magic HQ, vendors, gardens, and dedicated duelling grounds.

How to Access

Requirements:

  • Pack: The Sims 4 Realm of Magic
  • Optional: Seasons for “Mystical Clouds” weather in the Realm
  • Optional crossover: Enchanted by Nature for an extra teleport option

Steps:

  1. Travel to Glimmerbrook. Choose any lot, then head to the river path at the edge of the neighbourhood.
  2. Locate the shimmering portal by the creek and select Travel to The Magic Realm. There are no chance cards or skill gates.
  3. Once your Sim is a Spellcaster, use the Glimmerstone from their inventory to return to the Realm instantly on future visits.

Alternative Access:

  • Enchanted by Nature: Use the Starseed Teleporter in Innisgreen’s Everdew area. Consumes Fairy Dust per jump.
  • Teleport cheats: testingcheats true then Shift-click ground > Teleport Here.
  • Build access: Enter the Realm, open the console and use bb.enablefreebuild to edit Magic HQ.
  • Spellcaster travel: High-rank casters can use teleportation spells for quick movement within islands.

World Connection: Linked to Glimmerbrook. Enter via the portal there or via Glimmerstone.

  • Shopping in Casters Alley for tomes, brooms, wands, familiars, and ingredients
  • Harvesting Realm-specific plants in the Gardens

Rabbit Hole Elements:

  • Portal travel is a short transition. No chance cards inside the Realm. Vendors and training are fully interactive.

Special Rewards

  • Rite of Ascension quest to become a Spellcaster if you arrive as a normal Sim
  • Access to ultimate spells through Sages at higher ranks
  • Glimmerstone gifted upon becoming a Spellcaster for instant Realm travel
  • Progress Spellcaster ranks faster through on-site training, duels, and tomes
