Forgotten Grotto – Secret Location Guide – The Sims 4

Overview

Forgotten Grotto is a hidden world in Oasis Springs, tucked away inside the cliffs of the desert. Unlike Sylvan Glade, it requires a maxed Handiness skill to unlock, making it a more exclusive location. Inside, Sims will find glowing crystals, bat caves, and rare collectibles in a mysterious cavern environment.

How to Access

• Requirements: Handiness Level 10 (Base Game)
• Steps:
  1. Travel to Oasis Springs, Desert Bloom Park.
  2. Locate the boarded-up Mine Entrance near the back of the park.
  3. Use a Sim with Handiness Level 10 to break open the wooden boards.
  4. Once inside, select Explore and follow the correct sequence:
     • Take the Wide Path
     • Climb the Ladder
     • Step onto the Ledge
     • Travel to Grotto
• Alternative Access:
  • Starseed Teleporter (Enchanted by Nature) – Teleport directly if you have Fairy Dust.
  • Cheats: testingcheats true > shift-click to teleport directly, or bb.enablefreebuild to edit.

Environment

• World Connection: Oasis Springs
• Visual Style: A glowing underground cavern with luminous crystals, trickling water, and bat silhouettes.
• Unique Features: Mining entrance, stalactites, eerie lighting, and hidden crystal formations.

Gameplay Features

• Collectibles: Rare crystals, metals, fossils, frogs, fish, and plants. Exclusive fishing for the rare Batfish.
• NPCs or Creatures: Bats appear as ambient wildlife.
