Clubs System – The Sims 4 – Get Together Expansion

The Clubs system in The Sims 4: Get Together adds a dynamic social mechanic that allows Sims to form highly customizable social groups. Whether you’re building a book club, a prankster crew, or a gardening circle, Clubs can be tailored to suit any personality or goal.

What Are Clubs?

Clubs are social groups that follow rules, engage in specific activities, and provide unique perks for members. They’re perfect for storytelling, skilling up, socialising, or just causing chaos.

Clubs offer:

  • Autonomy-based group behaviour
  • Customisable membership criteria
  • Earnable club perks
  • Summon-anywhere hangouts
  • Rivalries and relationships within and between clubs

How Clubs Work

1. Creating a Club

To start your own Club:

  • Click the social groups icon (plumbob with people)
  • Choose “Create a Club”
  • Set your club name, icon, and hangout location

You’ll also get to set rules and style – everything from what activities members do to what they wear while doing it.

2. Membership

Each club has a limited number of members, which you can expand with club perks.

You can:

  • Set requirements: age, traits, skill level, career, marital status
  • Invite specific Sims
  • Be in multiple clubs at once

Perfect for having a “Chess Club” by day and a “Dance Crew” by night.

3. Activities: What Your Club Does (or Doesn’t)

Each Club includes:

  • Encouraged Activities: e.g. Painting, Swimming, Trolling Forums
  • Banned Activities: e.g. Being Mean, Using Phones, Mischief

Sims will autonomously perform these while the club is gathering, giving you indirect control over gameplay.

There are hundreds of combinations – from wellness retreats to villainous gangs.

4. Club Points & Perks

As club members complete approved activities, they earn club points, which unlock perks like:

Perk TypeExamples
Club SizeAdd more members
Skill BoostsFaster learning in chosen skills
Social BonusesFriendly, Romantic, Mischievous boosts
Secret HandshakesUnique greetings
Emotional VibesEnergised, Confident, Focused, etc.
Club ClothingUniform styles, accessories

Use points wisely – some perks stack and can massively boost your Sim’s progress.

Club Hangouts

You can assign custom hangouts for your club to gather. Choose any lot:

  • Residential homes
  • Cafés, libraries, gyms, or custom venues
  • Community lots designed just for your club

Members will automatically travel to the hangout and start doing their club-approved actions.

Club Outfits

Style your squad with matching (or ridiculous) outfits. Use the outfit editor to assign:

  • Full uniform looks (e.g. suits, workout gear)
  • Specific pieces (e.g. club hats only)
  • Gender/age-specific styles

This is optional – but highly recommended for drama or aesthetics.

Club Rivalries & Vibes

Clubs can develop rivalries naturally based on conflicting activities, or you can stoke the tension manually.

Club “vibes” influence Sims’ moodlets and emotions during gatherings:

Club VibeEffect
EnergisedBoosts Fitness activities
FocusedGreat for Logic or Chess clubs
FlirtyRomance-focused clubs
AngryEncourage fighting or drama

You can shape the entire tone of your group using vibes.

Pre-Made Clubs

Windenburg comes with several pre-made clubs like:

  • Avant Gardes – For bookish and artsy Sims
  • Powerhouse – Fitness-focused club at the local gym
  • Renegades – Mischief-makers who dislike the rules
  • Paragons & Upper Crusts – Social elites with strict rules

Final Thoughts

The Sims 4 Club System makes social gameplay more structured, fun, and endlessly customisable. Whether you want to boost skills, build friendships, or start drama, Clubs give you new tools to shape your story.
