The Social Skill is one of four child-specific skills in The Sims 4. It opens the door to future Mischief and Charisma development and helps your Sim navigate conversations, emotions, and empathy — all through play, practice, and plushies!

How to Build the Social Skill
Children can build the Social Skill by:
- Talking to other Sims, toddlers, and children
- Chatting with toys like stuffed animals
- Practising speech at a mirror
- Watching Sim.TV on a computer
- Using social interactions during play or homework help
