How to Become a Ghost

Ghosts are created when a Sim dies. Every cause of death leaves a corresponding ghost with distinct colouration and behaviours.

Playing as a Ghost

Once a Sim has died, their ghost can remain in the world as a non-playable haunt or be added back into the household.

To add a ghost to your household:

1. Wait for the ghost to appear at night near its grave.
2. Build a friendship.
3. Use Ask to Join Household when the relationship is high enough.

Alternatively, use testingcheats true → Shift-click ghost → Add to Family.

Ghosts retain their full skill sets, relationships, and careers. However, they have some limitations:

• Cannot age naturally (they are ageless).
• Cannot become pregnant or impregnate.
• Can move through walls and objects.
• Need the occasional haunting cooldown if resurrected later.
