Make a splash with Diving, a five-level skill from Adventure Awaits. Sims practise dives from low and high boards, unlocking trick dives and earning moodlets based on success or failure. Children, Teens, Young Adults, Adults and Elders can build this skill. While practising, Sims also gain Fitness; Children also gain Motor.
How to Build the Diving Skill
- Use diving boards
Place a low or high board from Build/Buy (Outdoor Water Décor → Pool Objects). Choose Practice Diving for continuous reps, or pick specific jumps. - Read skill books
Buy Papercraft? (No) For Diving, use standard skill books via a bookshelf or computer. Reading is slower but reliable. - Attend a skill class (Discover University)
Phone → Business app → Sit in on Skill Class → Diving. - Pack synergies
- Clubs: Add “Use Diving Boards” as a Club activity.
- Businesses & Hobbies / Custom Venues: Set boards as allowed activities to encourage NPC use.
- Ideal set-up
Place Focused décor near the pool or get Focused from chess before practice to improve consistency.
