Overview

Deep Woods, also called the Hermit’s House, is a hidden lot in Granite Falls that comes with The Sims 4: Outdoor Retreat game pack. It’s a fully explorable secret area with waterfalls, rich collectibles, and a resident Hermit who can teach an exclusive Herbalism remedy.

How to Access

Requirements:

• Pack: The Sims 4 Outdoor Retreat
• World: Granite Falls (vacation-only)
• Helpful but not required: Fishing and Herbalism skills, a tent or rental with beds

Steps:

1. Use a phone or computer and select Take a Vacation. Travel to Granite Falls Forest National Park.
2. From the park lodge/cabin, rotate the camera so you face the cabin front. Head to the back right area behind the cabin toward the rocky outcrop. Look for a shrub-covered cave.
3. Click Explore to enter the mini choose-your-own-adventure. The most reliable route is:
   • Step Forward
   • Go Through Web
   • Ignore the Object
   • Approach the Sim
4. Your Sim arrives in the Deep Woods at the Hermit’s lot. On later trips to Granite Falls you can enter the portal directly once found.

Notes:

• Failing a prompt can return your Sim with a Tense or Uncomfortable moodlet. They must wait a few hours before exploring again.
• Wellness teleport does not bypass entry. This hidden lot is only reached through the cave sequence.

Alternative Access (if any):

• Teleport: testingcheats true then Shift-click ground > Teleport Here (PC).
• Build here: Open the cheat console and use bb.enablefreebuild while on the lot.
• Mods can also allow direct travel, but are not required.

Environment

World Connection: Granite Falls (Outdoor Retreat), accessed from the Forest National Park.

Visual Style: A secluded, rocky forest basin with steep cliffs and a dramatic multi-tier waterfall. Soft, cool lighting, mist over pools, and dense pines give a calm, remote feel.
