Released on February 26, 2019 (PC/Mac) and May 14, 2019 (console), The Sims 4: StrangerVille is the seventh game pack. Unlike most Sims packs, it introduces a linear mystery storyline set in a desert town plagued by infection and secrecy. Players investigate strange plants, possessed Sims, and the mysterious Secret Lab before confronting the Mother Plant itself.
World Overview: StrangerVille
StrangerVille is a rural desert town inspired by the American Southwest, mixing small-town charm with eerie conspiracy vibes. The world has 11 lots across two neighbourhoods and a crater-side secret lab.
Neighbourhoods
| Neighbourhood | Description |
|---|---|
| StrangerVille Plaza | The social hub, with bars, shops, and a library where scientists gather. Military officers and conspiracy theorists often hang out here. |
| Shady Acres | A quiet, upscale suburb near the mountains, home to large desert mansions and suspiciously normal neighbours. |
| The Secret Lab | Locked away in the crater, the lab is central to the storyline and home to the Mother Plant. |
Festivals, Events, or Special Occasions
This pack does not feature festivals. Instead, the Bloom Event occurs mid-story, transforming the town with spores, storms, and more intense infection.

Final Thoughts
StrangerVille stands out as the Sims franchise’s first story-driven pack. Best for players who enjoy narrative-driven gameplay or want a desert world with a twist.
