Milestone I: Tone Death

Task	Tips
Practice Music for 6 Hours	Use any instrument, from base game or packs. Hours can be spread over time.
Listen to Music for 2 Hours	Use a radio or white earbuds in your Sim’s inventory. No need to do this all in one go.

Milestone II: Fine Tuned

Task	Tips
Achieve Level 4 Skill in an Instrument	Choose from Piano, Guitar, Pipe Organ, or Violin. Use Inspired mood to level up faster.
Play an Instrument While Inspired	Take a Thoughtful Shower, use inspired décor, or view art to trigger this mood. Check out our Mood Guide!

Milestone III: Harmonious

Task	Tips
Achieve Level 6 Skill in an Instrument	Keep practicing daily. Mix up songs and practice options.
Write 4 Songs	Sims must be Level 8 in an instrument to unlock song writing. Options appear when you click the instrument.
Earn §500 from Licensing Songs	Once a song is finished, click the mailbox to license it. Royalties are paid daily at 10AM.

Milestone IV: Musical Genius

Task	Tips
Achieve Level 10 Skill in an Instrument	Play regularly and stay Inspired. A Creative trait helps!
Spend 75 Hours Playing Instruments	This accumulates over time across all instruments. You can switch between them if you’d like.
Mentor Others in Music for 3 Hours	Once Level 10 is reached, click on another Sim using the same instrument and select “Mentor.” Best done at home or during club gatherings.

• Use inspired mood boosts (Thoughtful Showers, inspired paintings, or the Musing Music Lamp).
• Listening to music with earbuds lets Sims do other tasks at the same time!
• Songs take time to write don’t cancel the action or you’ll lose progress.
• Use clubs (Get Together) to create music clubs for faster levelling and mentoring opportunities.
