What Is It?

The Master Mentor aspiration is part of The Sims 4: Businesses and Hobbies expansion pack. This four-stage aspiration walks you through becoming a mentee and then evolving into a full-fledged mentor who can inspire others through teaching, guidance, and motivating speeches.

While the first two milestones focus on receiving mentorship, the later stages require your Sim to mentor others including teaching hobby classes, which can only be done if you run a small business.

Aspiration Milestones

Stage 1: Fledgling Mentee

Task	Tips
Gain a Mentor	Attend a hobby class at Terra-Potta and build relationships. Ask an advanced Sim to mentor you.
Earn Bronze Level 3 Times from Attending Hobby Classes	You must actively participate in classes to progress. Arrive early and stay focused!
Achieve Level 3 in 3 Skills	Pick hobbies offered in classes like Painting, Woodworking, or Knitting. Use Inspired moodlets to boost progress.

Stage 2: Aspiring Student

Task	Tips
Make a New Friend While Attending a Hobby Class	Socialise before or after class. Outgoing and Charismatic Sims will find this much easier.
Achieve Gold Level from Attending a Hobby Class	Be highly engaged participate fully, bring high-quality items, and complete related goals.
Be Mentored for 3 Hours	You need to stay in close proximity to your mentor. Use the Be Mentored interaction again if it drops.
Achieve Level 5 in 3 Skills	Continue building the same skills from earlier. Level 5 is needed to mentor others later on.

Stage 3: Passionate Teacher

Task	Tips
Become a Mentor to Another Sim	Click on another Sim and choose Mentor (available when your Sim has a high skill level).
Mentor Another Sim for 3 Hours	Use the Mentor interaction in proximity while they’re actively performing the skill.
Teach 5 Hobby Classes	Requires owning a Small Business. Set up a class schedule at your venue and choose a skill to teach.
Achieve Level 8 in 3 Skills	You’ll need to be proficient across multiple areas it’s best to pick hobbies with overlap (e.g., Painting, Writing, Handiness).

Stage 4: Master Mentor

Task	Tips
Earn Gold Level 2 Times from Teaching Hobby Classes	Boost class ratings by providing refreshments, greeting attendees, and offering helpful tips.
Gain a Mastery Perk	Select a perk once you’ve earned enough reputation and experience running your business.
Achieve Level 10 in 3 Skills	Focus on 3 core hobbies you’re passionate about using Inspired moodlets and Focused environments helps a lot.

Reward Trait: Motivational Speaker

Upon completion, your Sim unlocks:

• Ability to Give Motivating Speeches (boosts mood, skill gain, and perk discovery)
• Speeches affect both your Sim and others nearby
• Bonus for teaching, mentoring, and learning environments
• Inspires happiness and productive energy

Business Requirement Notes:

• You must own a Small Business to teach classes
• Set up your class space (tables, skill objects, seating) and register classes through the Business Panel
• You can still give motivational speeches without owning a business once the aspiration is complete
