Lead the charge for the Resistance and bring hope to Batuu!
What Is It?
The Paragon of Hope aspiration is one of two faction-specific aspirations unlocked after completing the Hope vs Order intro path in The Sims 4: Journey to Batuu. This path is for Sims who want to support the Resistance, dismantle the First Order’s control, and inspire others to rise up against oppression.

Stage 1: For the Resistance

| Introduce Yourself to 3 Resistance Members | Travel to the Resistance Encampment and look for Sims wearing Resistance outfits. Use Friendly Introduction |
| Explore the Caves of Batuu | In the Resistance Encampment, look for the glowing cave entrance near the crashed X-Wing. Click it and select Explore. |
| Complete 2 Missions for the Resistance | Talk to Vi Moradi (blue hair, icon over head) to accept missions. Complete two to progress |
Stage 2: Protector of Batuu

| Recruit 3 Sims to the Resistance | Build friendly relationships and look for the option to Recruit to the Resistance. Higher Charisma helps |
| Obtain a Droid Companion | Purchase a Resistance droid from the droid depot in Black Spire. You’ll need credits and some reputation |
| Override Locks and Loot 2 Supply Crates in the First Order District | Requires slicing. Bring a droid with you and use Programming or Droid Assist to override crates (often guarded!) |
Stage 3: Paragon of Hope

| Infiltrate the First Order Cargo Building and Slice the Holotable | Requires higher Resistance rank. Enter the First Order District, sneak into the cargo building, and use a terminal to Slice the Holotable |
| Explore 5 Times in the X-wing | Available through Resistance missions from Vi Moradi. Some missions will count as “explorations” complete 5 of these |
| Reach Resistance Reputation Rank 5 | Build rep by doing Resistance missions, helping citizens, and sabotaging the First Order. Check your Sim’s reputation in their profile |
Completion Rewards
Once completed, your Sim is awarded the Heroic Presence trait:
- Increased Charisma gain
- Inspires other Sims with their presence
- Unlocks positive social interactions to boost morale
- Perfect for leaders, rebels, or Sims with a strong moral compass
Extra Tips
- Bring a Resistance Droid with you to help with slicing and stealth
- Avoid getting caught in the First Order District disguise your actions when needed
- The Prepared Voyager trait (from choosing Star Wars as your first aspiration) makes traveling across Batuu easier and less draining
- Pair this aspiration with the Politician Career back home for a rebellion-themed storyline!
