Because some Sims don’t dream of clean.
What Is It?
The Fabulously Filthy aspiration came with the Bust the Dust Kit, turning the usual obsession with cleanliness upside down. Your Sim thrives in filth, procrastinates chores, and builds friendships with dust bunnies while actively avoiding cleaning tasks. Think: chaos gremlin with a love for clutter.

Aspiration Milestones & Tasks
Stage 1: Procrastinator
| Task | Tips |
|---|---|
| Leave out food to spoil | Cook a meal, then leave it on a counter for 8 Sim hours. You’ll know it’s spoiled when it’s green and stinky! |
| Let 3 kitchen or bathroom objects get dirty | Use sinks, counters, toilets, or showers repeatedly avoid cleaning them! |
| Let at least one floor level of your home become dirty | Takes 3 days of no cleaning. Dust will build up to “Filthy” over time don’t vacuum! |
| Max out Sim’s fun motive while on a dusty, dirty, or filthy floor | Watch TV, WooHoo, or play games on a dusty floor until your Sim’s Fun bar is full |
Stage 2: Chore Dodger
| Task | Tips |
|---|---|
| Successfully ask 3 Sims to clean | Use Friendly > Ask to Clean, or Mean > Demand Cleaning. Friends or housemates work best |
| Befriend a Dust Bunny | Let your house get dusty. Click the bunny and Feed it until the Befriend interaction appears |
| Cook 3 meals on a dirty or filthy floor level | Make sure your kitchen counters and floor are visibly dirty then prepare 3 meals on them. |
| Bug Warning: Do not use the Slob trait it prevents this step from completing! | |
| Pay for a cleaning service | Use your Sim’s phone and select “Hire Service” > Maid (One Time or Recurring). Do this once |
Stage 3: Low Standards
| Task | Tips |
|---|---|
| Eat 3 meals that are spoiled | Either eat already-spoiled food from the fridge, or intentionally let meals go bad before eating. Yuck! |
| Bathe/shower 3 times in a dirty tub or shower | Keep using a shower until it gets visibly dirty, then bathe without cleaning it |
| Don’t wash your hands after using the toilet | After your Sim uses the loo, cancel the “Wash Hands” action quickly before it starts |
| Invite a guest over while the house is dirty/filthy | When your house hits dusty or worse, use your phone and invite someone over |
| Sims may react negatively but your Sim loves it! |
Stage 4: Filth Friend
| Task | Tips |
|---|---|
| Knock over 3 trash cans | Get your Sim angry (use Mean socials or get insulted), then click outside bins and “Knock Over” them |
| Throw a party in a filthy house | Plan a Social Event via phone (any party type), and host it while the house is in a filthy state |
| Appease a Filth Fiend with a tribute | Dust bunnies evolve into Filth Fiends if ignored long enough. Click them and choose “Appease with Tribute” to calm their wrath |
| WooHoo in a filthy house | Once your house is filthy, initiate WooHoo in any bed or shower |
| (Pro tip: Sims may get special moodlets!) |
