Archaeology Scholar Aspiration Guide

Dig deeper into jungle ruins, uncover ancient treasures, and become a master of the past!


What Is It?

The Archaeology Scholar aspiration is part of the Jungle Adventure game pack and focuses on building the Archaeology skill, uncovering and authenticating artifacts, and eventually writing a book and delivering lectures about your findings. It’s a slower-paced aspiration tied to jungle exploration and object-based gameplay.

Stage 1: Trowel Technician

Excavate 3 Dig Piles or Excavation SitesTravel to Belomisia Jungle (via Salvadorada). Look for sparkling dirt mounds. Dig piles are easier to find during dry seasons
Uncover Artifact from Dirt ClumpWhile excavating, you’ll collect dirt clumps. Click them in your inventory to uncover artifacts

TIP: Dig sites yield more artifacts than single piles. Survey and establish excavation sites early to maximise progress.


Stage 2: Research Associate

Achieve Level 4 Archaeology SkillStudy artifact authentication, survey, and excavation to quickly level up. Reading skill books helps too
Survey for a Dig PileClick on the ground (in jungle lots) to survey. Your Sim will reveal a dig pile or excavation site nearby
Authenticate 3 ArtifactsUse the Authentication Table (found in Build/Buy under ā€œArchaeologyā€). Requires dirt clumps from excavations

TIP: Always bring your authentication table with you when you travel! Saves time going home to finish artifact work.


Stage 3: Excavation Expert

Achieve Level 7 Archaeology SkillKeep excavating, authenticating, and reading skill books
Establish 3 Excavation SitesOnce your skill is high enough, click a dig pile → Establish Excavation Site. This lets multiple Sims help and increases loot
Find & Authenticate 5 Excellent Quality ArtifactsOnly authenticated artifacts will count. Quality is tied to skill level so try after level 7+

TIP: Artifacts have fake versions! If it doesn’t count, check the quality rating or try authenticating again.


Stage 4: Archaeology Scholar

Achieve Level 10 Archaeology SkillFocus on high-level authentication and giving lectures to hit the final milestone quickly
Write a Good Archaeology Skill BookYou need some Writing skill (ideally level 4–5). Use the computer → Write Skill Book > Archaeology
Give a Successful Archaeology LectureLevel 10 unlocks this in the Friendly interactions with other Sims. Works best if your Sim is Confident

TIP: You can give lectures to friends, family, or strangers just make sure your Sim is in a good mood and that the listener isn’t distracted!
