For Sims who want to swim in simoleons and sparkle while doing it!
What Is It?
The Fabulously Wealthy aspiration is perfect for Sims who want to become rich through any means necessary — careers, investments, gardening, art, or even digging up frogs and selling them. Once completed, your Sim gains a trait that gives them weekly money just for being wealthy.
| Focus Area | Details |
|---|---|
| Category | Fortune |
| Required Packs | Base Game |
| Best Traits | Ambitious, Materialistic, Snob |
| Good Careers | Business, Tech Guru, Painting, Gardening, Freelance, Writing |
| Compatible Aspirations | Mansion Baron, Successful Lineage |
Reward Trait: Shrewd
Shrewd Sims receive weekly direct deposits based on their current household funds.
The richer you are, the more you get — think of it as interest on your simoleons.
Example:
If your Sim has §100,000 in household funds, they’ll receive thousands of simoleons every week (on Sundays) as passive income.
Aspiration Milestones & Tasks
Stage 1: Going for Not Broke
| Task | Tips |
|---|---|
| Have earned §5,000 | This can be through: |
| – Careers | |
| – Selling items (paintings, produce, collectibles, frogs) | |
| – Inheritance events | |
| Have §10,000 in reserves | Your current household funds must hit this number. You can spend after it’s been recognised! |
Stage 2: Learning Earning
| Task | Tips |
|---|---|
| Have §20,000 in reserves | Save more, spend less — or cheat with investments or inheritance events |
| Have earned §25,000 | Continue to earn money through jobs or passive income like gardening, royalties, or retail |
Stage 3: Well-Off
| Task | Tips |
|---|---|
| Have earned §75,000 | At this point, higher-paying jobs and side hustles (like collectibles, art, or gigs) help a lot |
| Have §35,000 in reserves | Sell unwanted inventory items if you’re just short of the goal |
Stage 4: Fabulously Wealthy
| Task | Tips |
|---|---|
| Have earned §200,000 | This is cumulative across the Sim’s life. Selling a big collection, running a shop, or maxing high-income careers makes this easier |
| Have §50,000 in reserves | Final goal — don’t be tempted to redecorate just yet! Hit the mark, then splurge |
